CALC had teamed up with Burton Manor
The CALC team has worked hard during the last few months on further developing our links with Burton Manor College. We have a number of courses running at Burton Manor during the next six months. Details available on the products page.
The CALC team also continue to work with SERCO as a Specialist Support Provider in relation to the Flexible New Deal (FND) initiative designed to help long term unemployed individuals come off benefits and into sustainable work.
Currently the majority of our work is in the North West region, mainly Cheshire, we hope to secure work in North Wales and the Midlands in the near future. So watch this space for more news.

Employers Please Note:
The
Centre for Adult Life Change continues to develop
it's services related to: helping people to cope with
redundancy. Too often, redundancy advice concentrates on Employment
Law procedures and the rights of employers and staff. Adult Life
Change courses focus on what happens NEXT!
Opportunities; how to
get and stay positive; choosing your future; planning for
re-employment, self-employment or retirement; and how to make the
most of your time and money.
We aim to make redundancy as painless
as possible.

The Centre for Adult Life Change (CALC) is back on line
Following some technical difficulties we are back on line. We will be spending some time on rebuilding and developing our website so please excuse our changing looks as the months go by.
While we have been off line the CALC team has undergone some changes. One of our team has been away in Canada and is just back following a lengthy stay. We hope to have a few interesting articles to share from the visits and exploration of how the Canadians are work to resolve issues similar to those experienced here in the UK.
Another team member has been in France for a while and new member s are joining us during the summer.
